Andree S. Bogaerts


Andree Bogaerts has extensive experience with the formation and negotiation of commercial contracts, corporate financing and governance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Lev, Berlin & Sousa, Andree worked for eight years on the Contracts and Counsel team at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a Lockheed Martin company, drafting and negotiating agreements relating to international military aircraft and aftermarket proposals, sales agreements, industrial cooperation agreements, supplier agreements, supplemental agreements and program restructuring, including the Turkish Utility Helicopter Program, the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program, Turkish Navy’s Helicopter Program and the Brunei Royal Air Force Program.

Prior to this, Andree practiced corporate law for six years as an associate in the private equity group at the law firm of Dewey Ballantine, LLP in New York City. In this position, Andree drafted and negotiated documentation for a broad array of US and international acquisitions and debt and equity placements on behalf of private corporations and private equity groups. Andree’s transactional experience also includes representing sponsors of private equity funds in connection with fund formation, as well as institutional investors in connection with investments in these funds.

Andree holds a Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University’s Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service. Andree is a member of the bar of the State of New York since 1994. Andree also speaks Czech and French. Andree lives in Larchmont, New York with her husband, George Stone and has three children, Isabelle, Matthew and William.
